Fall 2010 Starting Dates

Football begins on August 23. All other sports can begin on August 26. Coaches will go over practice schedules during the meeting on August 18 at 6:00pm in the High School Auditorium.

MEDWAY HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT FALL SPORTS INFORMATION Packets for the fall season are available in the High School Principal’s Office or you can click on the link to download the forms. You will need to wait until August 17 or 18 to have Mrs. Butler, school nurse, sign-off to verify that a valid physical is on file. It must also be signed by a parent/guardian and the student. Insurance information must be complete and up-to-date. Any new physicals that are completed over the summer can be mailed to Mrs. Butler, at the high school before August 12, or brought in on the 17th from 11-1 or 18th from 3-6. The packets also include a medical history/health questionnaire which can be used by your physician for physicals, and a liability release form. All paperwork, including the fall Athletic Fee of $235 (check made payable to: Medway Athletics), is due at the parent/athlete/coach meeting to be held on August 18 at 6:00 pm in the High School Auditorium. Students need to turn in the required information on the 18th to be eligible for practice the following week. Mrs. Butler will be in school on August 17 from 11-1 and again on August 18 from 3-6 for anyone that needs her signature. Please do not bring the forms to the main office prior to the meeting on the 18th. The “Medway High School Guide to Athletics” has been updated and is posted on the athletics web page. Hard copies are also available in the AD’s office, or the main office at the high school. How do I get schedule change notifications?

By following the directions listed below you can up to the minute changes in schedules via text or email.

1. Go to highschoolsports.net and click My Account at the top of the page. 2. First time users click "I'm A Guest" of "join today". Current users sign in using your name (email address) and password and click My Account at the top of the page. 3. Complete your profile by filing out the required information 4. Click the My Teams tab at the top of the page and choose the schools you would like to receive notifications for. 5. Select the sport(s) and types of notifications you would like to recieve for that sport by clicking the drop down arrows. You will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive this, you will not be able to get the Schedule change Notifications.

2010-11 Athletic Fees

The 2010-11 Athletic Fees have been set at $235 with a family cap of $940. All payments should be made payable to "Medway Athletics" when forms are returned.
