Medway High School

Posted September 15:

As you know, visiting your child's teachers is a great way to stay informed about his/her academic performance. We do not want anything to hinder you from receiving this valuable one on one time with your child's teachers, so Student Government will be offering free childcare during the Open House on September 17. These students are very caring and they have experience with children. They will provide games, coloring supplies, and other activities throughout the night. We encourage you to use this great service so you can have a productive meeting with your child's teachers.

This morning we met with our students regarding some procedures for the coming year. In addition to this presentation, we focused on some of the Handbook changes, specifically regarding chemical health and electronic devices.

The Medway IT Department is developing online forms that will eventually replace the paper form copies processed at the start of school and throughout the year. We hope to officially launch this new service in October. Until then we ask that ALL parents/guardians complete the paper forms and return them to school as requested. If you notice the ability to submit information online, and you have time, please complete this step as well. Online submission is not mandatory, but will help us analyze the ability to 'go paperless' in the future.

Thank you!

Teacher and Class Supply Lists are posted HERE!

Traffic and Parking Information update. Due to truck traffic resulting from the field project behind the high school, parents wishing to pick up their child between 2 and 2:40 PM should use the loop to the left of the main entrance. For a diagram, please click HERE.

In the morning, parents should use the main bus loop in the front of the building (near the bell).

Student parking has been affected as well, but there are sufficient spots for all students who wish to drive. We ask that students park using the second entrance on the right, as trucks will be using the first entrance to access Summer Street. Again, check this Diagram.

Until the project is complete, there is no driving on the access road behind the school, except for authorized vehicles.
