May 15-19, 2017 is Food Allergy Awareness Week

Food allergies and anaphylaxis affect more than 15 million Americans.  It is estimated that every classroom has at least 2 students with a potentially life-threatening food allergy. In an effort to educate, support students and raise awareness of food allergies, Medway Middle School will participate in Food Allergy Awareness week. Throughout the week, students will learn about food allergies, prevention and treatment.  Also, Friday,  May 19th is “Teal Takeover” day.  Students will be encouraged to wear teal to support and raise awareness of food allergies.
