School Committee Goals
The School Committee has established and agreed to maintain the following guiding principles for setting School Committee annual goals. School Committee goals should:
Apply to the whole committee – we want to avoid setting goals that might be too specific or only pertain to one or two members.
Fall within the School Committee purview – goals should not cross over into operational matters or those otherwise outside the scope of the School Committee
Be limited in number and scope – as we have discussed when reviewing goals for the district, schools, and the superintendent, we should focus on a smaller number of quality goals that are achievable within a school-year timeframe.
