A huge thank you to the Medway community! Following Monday’s Special and Annual Town Meetings, several key items were approved to support our schools moving forward, including:
The 2026-2027 School Budget: Officially approved! Despite a highly challenging financial environment for school districts across Massachusetts, the partnership of our Town officials and community ensures we have the resources to continue providing an excellent education.
Capital Improvements: Funding approved for cafeteria flooring replacements, painting, and a new vehicle to expand our specialized transportation services.
Arts & Culture Highlights: A massive congratulations to everyone involved in last week’s Annual Art Walk and Pops Concert! Your incredible talent truly showcases what makes Medway so special. 🎨🎶

Medway Public Schools is seeking substitute nurses for all schools. An RN license is required. The position pays $125 per day.

We wanted to share information about a situation that occurred after regular dismissal today. Shortly after regular dismissal, the main office received a called-in bomb threat. In accordance with our procedures the school was evacuated and the Medway Police Department was notified.
At that time, all remaining students and staff safely evacuated the high school and Medway Police and Fire Departments quickly arrived on scene. All students and staff are safe. The Medway Police Department is continuing their investigation and will provide an update when concluded. At this time, remaining students are being picked up and all activities have been suspended. We will provide another update when we have more information.

Medway is excited to proudly host the 11th Annual 5-Town Special Olympics, tomorrow, Tuesday, April 28, at Medway High School. 172 Student athletes, the most they have ever had, from Medway, Millis, Medfield, Ashland, Holliston, and the ACCEPT program in Medway will compete in a variety of soccer-themed events.
We look forward to an incredible event!
