Join Shannon Riley of The Clay Garden and create a one-of-a-kind ceramic planter inspired by the colors and textures of fall. In this beginner-friendly workshop, participants will use slab-building techniques to form a footed planter, shape a softly scalloped rim, and personalize the surface with autumn leaves, mushrooms, and other nature-inspired details. After class, each planter will be professionally glazed in an earthy finish of their choice and kiln fired by The Clay Garden. Finished pieces will be ready for pickup at Burke-Memorial School in approximately 3 to 4 weeks. No pottery experience is necessary. All materials, tools, glazing, and firing are included.
